It IS that easy, you didnt specify the TYPE of ending you were going for.

You can ALWAYS adopt the Pirates of the Caribbean ending for their first sequel, just randomly end it.

Oh, they ended it that way to make people want to see the third one. What do they call that thing when a character is hanging on a cliff?

It simply annoyed me and ruined the series for me.

I paid for a full movie, NOT a movie that just BAM ends.

You can "wrap up" a movie, setting it up for a sequel. Movie makers have done so since the first sequel.

It says "lazy writers" to me.

If they can do it, so can you.

IJWTS- Just got into watching Futurama. I've seen some episodes but these were the much newer ones. The ones I saw to day, the older ones, made me love the show. I never laughed so much. I know how I'm spending my summer.

I got into them a few months ago, Netflix allowed me to watch from the beginning . I hated the show when it first came out, I liked it watching it from netflix.
