  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

IJWTS-I have to give up these stupid cigarettes.

If I can do it you can do it.

I was a two pack a day habit, been "clean" for months now.

I NEVER wanted them completely out of my life, but I was allowing myself to break once a month. (Take away the "never again" panic of breaking an addiction) I allowed it to fall on choice, NOT a "banning of an item only making me want it more."

When I last had one I didn't like it any more and it was even my brand. It was horrible, painful and I didn't even want to finish it. I still catch myself reaching for one (that subconsciously reaching for one during a trigger) but the reality is I don't really want another one (at times yes, but those times are getting less and less, I can smell things now, I can walk up steps without sweating and gasping for breath.)

To get rid of the habit you will have to go through Hell, but its worth it if you stick it out.
