  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS - Funny thing happened at lunch. Every friday three of us always go out for lunch, this time, he turned into eight of us. We decided to take a free shuttle to Pioneer Square in DT Seattle and have lunch there. The shuttle service back to work ended early today, so after waiting around for the shuttle, we called them and had them send a shuttle to pick us up.

Pretty funny! Had a really good time.

IJWTS Bleck. Here's hoping they start to feel better soon... Maybe some ice and heat would help?

IAJWTS that it is BEAUTIFUL out today and I might go over to the canyon and go hiking if I can find the time. :)

IJWTS - thanks...I've taken some meds to see if that will help. I've been dog sitting for some friends and their dogs all sleep in the bed and it is really uncomfortable for me and I end up twisted in positions that I don't usually sleep in :| I don't know how my friend AND her husband AND the four dogs all sleep in the bed and actually get any rest :doh:
