CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yay for music moods! I've been in this Alicia Keys phase for almost an entire week and I don't see it coming to an end anytime soon. lol. I still haven't grown tired of her smooth voice and don't know how I could! lol

Woah woah woah. I was in a Whitney phase before this too! I'm not going to lie, it's because her music was being played everywhere after she passed. But it only rekindled my love for all things Whitneyastic.
And Middle Eastern you say? Hm I don't know a lot of middle Eastern music, you should definitely post some songs in the music thread when you get a chance...and if they convince you to swing into that music mood lol!

I don't know much either, but two situations:
If the boss is playing Persian music, it's ok to approach, he won't snap your head off.
The guy was trying to show me the romanticness of Persian music a while back.
IAJWTS I'll never be in a Nortena mood though, accordions are of the devil.

IJWTS speaking of music, I need to find more music based on La Divina Commedia.
I know of two metal albums based on the Comedy, but they draw inspiration more on Inferno than on Purgatorio or Paradiso.
I wonder if the score for that Dante's Inferno game would be any good.... I know Beatrice plays a large role in the game, so that score might be promising......

I So have been thinking that all morning. I love waking up to birds...I actually woke up when my alarm went off this morning and ended up laying there listening for so long I fell back asleep 
IAJWTS - I have just now started my second cup of coffee...only my second cup. And since I have to leave in 15 minutes, I doubt I'll finish it...and I'm determined not to take a travel mug with me. I never thought I'd be so excited about not drinking so much coffee.

IJWTS there are too many Christian couples in dire need of sexual therapy/counseling because of the the taboos and misconceptions that are laid on us from early on. Lack of knowledge does not keep us from trouble. It keeps us from freedom or aids in making the wrong decisions based on the wrong ideals. I'm coming across it too often lately with those I know. It's sad. It's just one of those conversations that will be interesting to see as it unfolds the first few times but I seem to be a natural at bringing this up and couples being receptive to it (recently). Oddly enough, I'm very comfortable with it. Who knew... ministry? Very possibly.
