IJWTS-Happy International Women's Day! An international day to celebrate women. I didn't even know about this day until last week. I think it's awesome.
Apparently, March 8th was chosen for this wonderful holiday for two reasons: March is women's history month and March 8th was chosen to honor the women who died in the horrible Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire of 1911. I read about that tragedy last year in my US women's history class, so sad.
