CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS: I love Jesus.
It's really just that simple. IJWTS- If you're a university bookstore, why don't you have my book? I need it and this is your only purpose. You supply me with books I need for class. And yet, you aren't able to? Maybe I should have slowed it down a bit.... you... books...get ... me ... buy.

IJWTS - i feel kinda bad. My pastor is trying to help me connect with people in the church cuz he knows I really want to start fellowshipping and connecting with people there and sent me an email tonight with all the info on the small groups - but they all meet on nights I'm working. So I had to basically tell him, "thanks but no thanks " :/

IJWTS: Having to tighten up your Facebook profile privacy settings, and go through someone's friends list to determine who they have managed to become friends with so that they can stalk your posts is not a fun way to spend the wee morning hours. Facebook profile block for the win. Sigh.
