CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My parents were in NYC a few days ago and saw Clinton in the subway station. Since they aren't very impressed with him it wasn't all that exciting. But then their hotel was swarmed with UN conference dignitaries and my mom thought that was exciting because she got to see all the extra security swarming around. Weirdos. Love em.

.....and I can't believe I am actually watching South Park and laughing at it. Granted it is only season one so there is plenty of time for me to get offended by something and turn it off...but, still....hilarious.

IJWTS I have successfully had three bowls of cereal today and nothing else. I haven't done anything else that I need to get done but at least I have accomplished that much. I can feel the sugar coursing through my veins and I feel unstoppable....or in the need of a nap.
Days off are bliss; especially when you work too much.
