CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For many reasons. Today I noticed that sometimes I laugh and I can't get myself to stop. People will tell me to because they get embarrassed but that only makes me laugh more. And then just when I think I'm about to stop the sounds I make me me laugh even more!
Or when I'm saying "hello" to a person I haven't seen in a while my conversations are awkward and don't make sense.

As for the laughing, you sound REALLY fun!
I get the same way too sometimes. Just can't stop laughing, even though the conversation will shift to something a bit more serious. Oh well.As far as saying "hello" to the person, are you sure you want to say "hello" or is it forced? One of those "Oh hiiiiiiii" moments.

IJWTS today has been pretty good, my throat is much better and I've spent most of my day chatting with a friend. Red letter day.

I said this last year, and i'm going to say it again.
I had no idea there were so many Bibles dedicated to specific genders, much less ones which had pretty pink pages all decorated with roses and lace pointing out issues related to singleness/pregnancy/death/marriage/how to avoid being a ball crushing battle axe. I mean, I knew the pink ones existed, but I thought they were just ... pink. Not, full of specific advice for the ladies. World, you amaze me. Even if you amazed me with exactly the same thing last year you continue to amaze me.
I may have to get a Bible for the ladies, i'm intrigued.
