CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS~Got invited to my high school 10 yr reunion group on fb. It's next year! I feel terribly old and I feel like I've done absolutely NOTHING with my life since HS. I probably won't go because well....I have nothing to tell!

You will be shocked at how many feel the same way you do, and how many have really not done much in 10 years.

IJWTS- I just finished a web conference with my psych class and it went great! I was so nervous about having to discuss the material and just...looking like an idiot. Luckily it all went well, and I am so so thankful!

IJWTS, I wish my parents would stop treating me like a child. I can understand the need for rules, but this is a little ridiculous. I've lived on my own for two years, I don't need curfews/bedtimes/designated mealtimes/not being able to do my own laundry or buy my own food. The world is not going to end if I sleep in until 10 on my day off or forget to make my bed for ONE day!

I know what it's like to feel you've accomplished nothing your life in these past few years. But with said I still opted to go to mine. I was curious to see how everyone else was doing. I don't regret going to mine, it was fun overall. But I've also come to realize between the reunion and Facebook, that I really don't have much in common with those I went to school with anymore. Maybe it's just me though.

IJWTS-I slept for nearly 7 plus hours to after midnight. Waking up this early just means I can do more for the morning and sleep is caught up and only have to stay up a little bit longer the next 2 days to keep it on track for tomorrow.
