CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just got MAYBE pre-qualified for a mortgage...I'm shocked...scared...afraid it's not gonna happen...I have been through 3 years of absolute HORROR after the housing fiasco I endured in 2008...I've had application after application turned down because of the damage it did to my credit, and I've been trying SO hard to get my good credit back...I am absolutely dying to get out of the apartment ghetto where we've spent the last 8 years (aside from our brief and miserable stint in a god-awful excuse of a house, hence the above horror)...I hate living there so much...PLEASE God let us out...my boy deserves a home, a yard, safety when he goes outside to play...PLEASE...pre-qualify, pre-qualify, pre-qualify...

IJWTS-I am excited to form a customer, business relationship with this auto shop. When they had the chance today to really get me for money for a job that requires no time, and no real work, they gave it to me for free. I have maintenance coming up and even if they over charge...they are getting my business. This is the first mechanic, store of any sort that I have had this experience with...especially being a new customer and being told on the phone that it would be around a certain price. All that was needed done is hook my ECU to the computer and have it reteach my crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor since I changed a few months ago, the variation needed to be re-learned. They could have gotten me for one hour of pay for something that takes 5-15 min., depending on how busy the shop is or they could have gotten me for a diagnostic check and honestly, it would be understandable(frustrating but understandable). Instead, free(which technically makes the most sense, beyond the exception they have a several thousand dollar machine that I didn't fork out money for and my tester only cost me a 100 bucks)...I will have them do all my maintenance cause I change my own oil. Not to mention, they have a stabilizer that I really like too...stupid increase of ethanol on the horizon(30 percent in a matter of 10 years from what it is now...do not get me started).
