  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I use to have a friend in Australia who I would always ask "So what's tomorrow looking like?" although I was a bit jealous when he got to my birthday before I did. :p

IJWTS I have decided that this weekend, this upcoming week, and next weekend are going to be spent celebrating my birth. I think it's a great idea. More birthday fun the better. And besides, I never really enjoy my birthdays so I figured why not try and enjoy it this year? I am turning like 80 so I might as well enjoy and let people shower their love on me :wiggles eyebrows: I am kicking it off this weekend with a cook out and a BayBears game. Holla me.

Sounds like a great idea! My parents and I have always celebrated my birthday for three weeks. The week of my birthday, the week after my birthday because I was in the hospital, and the week after that for recovery of my surgery. Yep 3 weeks. I'm spoiled, okay??

Hey, nothing wrong with being spoiled. I am jealous! Three weeks sounds amazing. I am so going to milk that when I am married....maybe even try for the entire month of June. I am sure I can convince him.

Happy early birthday first of all! :hoho:

and no :( I can't make it home for my birthday this year. I think my parents are more upset by that then I am... which is a pretty difficult thing to accomplish. But I am hoping to enjoy it regardless. And hopefully I will be able to skype with them on the actual bday so I can see their faces.
