CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I cannot even tell you how much this made/makes me praise God for you!!! When I got the text, I was so super excited...I ended up getting teary-eyed and the kids started asking me if I was okayI told them God just helped a friend of mine and it made me cry in a good way...so they thanked God for you too (....oh I love them

I know. I'm crying again. This is crazy. It's a crazy love God has for us. My first thought when I got this check was of course the shock. Then I thought about my rent. It's enough to cover that plus some, but then I got a call from my mom and she told me that they have the rent covered. ~tears!~
I have a certain amount left that I have to put down by this coming Monday to have the surgery Wednesday. So I thought "Praise God and bless these crazy awesome folks I make friends with that I just learn to love while taking care of them. This can go to the hospital". It dawned on me only at that second that this check is for the exact amount that the hospital wants before doing the surgery. I mean...seriously. I didn't tell ANYONE about this.

Mary, Derrick, Chad: You all know what's going on and I know you've had my family and I in your prayers and sadly enough, probably more than I've been praying. I thank you soo much. ((((((Hugs)))))))) Mary, tell those babys that God hears them louder than us so I thank them soo much for their precious prayers. Tell them I love them even before.

And thanks Cy!! There was a funnel cloud over my city that took off some roofs and such..but nothing more than that and the warning is gone now..though we still have a watch...oy...storms...eeeep!!

IJWTS some people are strange and I don't understand them. I am appalled at the amount of effort some people will put in to gain just a shred of self righteousness and then disappear.

Don't be fooled by cute pictures of koalas. They are evil vicious creatures that regularly roam the streets of australia smashing windows and tearing up the pavement. The ones in 'captivity' are worse, their superior intelligence allows them to extort tourists and leverage control over their 'handlers' who work as slaves to these animals.
You've been warned and now I must go, I'm being summoned...
