CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS that I had a dream early this morning that a guy was really (and I mean really) attracted to me, but in a good way and not stalkeresque or anything. It has been so long since I've had a normal(ish) romantic dream. It wasn't (thank God) anyone I know or have met. The first thought I had when I woke up, though, was, "He looked like he was in his early 20s. That's so not right." I have issues. It's bad enough that the only guys my family members find to set me up with are in their early 20s, though thankfully my sister accepted my "no thanks," unlike my cousin last year.

IJWTS that I woke up with a romantic song stuck in my head, which suggests I was in love in my dream last night, but don't remember it. As far as I've come, the music is the one thing that still makes me hate being single.

IJWTS-They say to hate the sin and love the sinner. I've always joked that if you play your cards right, you can hate both. And right now I'm seeing way too many good card players around me and I'm starting to wonder if I should be playing at their table.
