CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ijwts- even if it snows an inch here, everyone freaks out and they close everything. It's nice but we hardly ever get snow. So it makes me giddy and happy like thiswhen it happens!!!!!
yucky I want tomorrow off too! Any plans for your snow day? How much snow did you get?

ijwts- i'm just going to sleep late, play in the snow, drink hot chocolate and enjoy it before it melts. They said we would only get 1-2 inches but we ended up gettting about 4- which is a lot for here.

ijwts- this is the first time this season we have had snow, we usualy just get it once or an ice storm if that. Some years we get nothing. It won't melt tonight b/c of the dropping temps. but it will probably melt tomorrow in the sun.

IJWTS: My town was supposed to have 4-6 inches of snow on Saturday, and we didn't get a thing... which i find funny... and i'm rather pleased about.

Hehe, I watched LOTR ROK last night
I had to turn off the TV when the giant spider comes out. That always creeps me out.We got about that much last night and it keeps falling...
Snow is overrated. There are over 60 accidents in the metro area and countless stuck cars.
I went out on the roads for 10 minutes and turned right around... the major roads are untreated and unplowed and it would have taken 2-3 hours to get to work.... if I could even make it to work.
