IJWTS I am bored...and this is dangerous. My room mate and I are headed to go shopping for eyeglasses in a bit and I have decided that when we are at the store I am going to pick someone out of the crowd and if they make eye contact with me I will yell "Bow before royalty, you insolent fool!"

No, no... see, you're supposed to compliment them. Then they ask for your number. Eye contact. Compliments. Smiles. Phone numbers. 50th wedding anniversaries. That's the proper order. Works everytime.

What does it mean when someone seems awkward around you? Like they will get your attention but then not continue with a conversation and you can feel the awkwardness...

Very likely means they really, really like you and hope you return those feelings but are bewildered as to how to act around you. My skeptical sides wants to think that they're expecting you to carry the bulk of the relational direction and not quite willing to step up and do their part, so I'd be worried. I do tend to overthink just about everything though.

Hmm, well it is the guy who I used to like and I thought that it might have been mutual. We got to know each other quite well last year but this year seems different. It feels awkward and I am not sure why. Maybe I am being more aware and overthinking it. I tried to start a conversation but it fell flat, we were just kind of looking at each other like we had no idea what to say.

Sounds like a case of the likes to me. IMO, if he can't bump it up and be direct with you...eeeehhh... I'd be worried that he can't step up to anything. But again, I analyze everything to death.

Hmm, I used to hink he did like me (some signs: holding my hand, being playful and teasing me, as well as staring into my eyes amongst other things. But the class broke up for summer and when we returned in the autumn he did make an effort again. However, unitentionally I acted like I wasn't interested and he ended up dating this girl who seemed keen on him.

So I gave up and accepted he didn't like me and tried to move on.

Anyway, even if he did like me he wouldn't ask me out because his friend liked me a lot.

Holy heck, girl! That's like two steps away from a proposal. Staring into your eyes? I know people who have been married 50 years and never done that. Unless I'm particularly repressed with my affections, I'd never do that to anyone that I wasn't serious about. Maybe flirting and whatnot is being done with less strings now?

Yeah, I hate it when people flirt and you are can't be sure of their intentions. It can cause a lot of hurt when it turns out that they don't seem to like you.

It's not right to do things like that flippantly. You have good reason to be hurt, as does anyone. Paying attention to someone like that is supposed to be reserved for those you are committed to. There's a reason God designed the human psyche to respond with attachment when someone shows you affection. Playing loose with those gifts of affection is no less than lying. A person is saying "I like you! I want you! You're special to me!" with no intention of backing it up long term. It's not right.

You will roflstomp Outlands, since they changed so much in talents/spells yet left OL's alone it's ridiculously ezmode. Same with Northrend but not quite as much.

IJWTS Outlands I can stand. I LOVE Nagrand (I call it Lion King Land). Northrend kind of drags on for me. I don't know perhaps it's due to slower lvling at higher levels.
