I'm watching something where a young woman is on all fours on a hospital bed screaming, cursing and asking "why me?" whilst the midwife is calmly commenting that 9 months ago she decided to enjoy herself and now she has to deal with it. Or something. It sounded so much better when he said it and kept commenting on how appalling the father was due to his mobile being off and "can't you just send me a picture" attitude towards the birth.


I'm also slightly disturbed that despite the quite obvious pain this woman, and the other women, are going through, and how horrifically disturbing the close up shots of the bairns actually coming out of that there birth canal are, it is still capable of making me clucky. This is not the preferred state to be in right now.

Also the discussion that is happening with the girls in the TV room about how demonic some women can get when they get in that baby creating mood is actually rather disturbing. Had no idea the two of them had even had such strong urges they all but threatened their partners with physical violence if they rejected their request to try for children.


It is also quite amusing to have your slightly drunk mother ring you, announce that you are a very boring child so could you please hurry up and get pregnant so she'll have something to tell her work friends because so and so's daughter is pregnant with her third whilst whatsherface has gone and run off with a Turkish waiter.

Hurrah.

A very bad book aimed at women who read very poor literature? You have a plot, a good amount of crazy and an imagination, it could be a best seller in the chick flick section.

Oh, this one sentence makes me want to purchase this book, it would slot in so very nicely in that empty shelf space.

I JUST GOT A JOB AS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT! which is what i went to college for! finally. i'm so stoked! God is just pouring His blessings over my husband and i. He's so faithful!

and...as much as i love the cold weather, i cant wait for it to warm up. i want to lay on the beach in the sun. and go swimming. woot!

Watching documentaries with people just as prone to bursting into tears as yourself is a very bad idea indeed. All it takes is one person to start sniffling, then you're all bawling over various things that are actually not that sad at all.

They are also completely distracting when it comes to deadlines.

Also spamming CF only a few days after you said you needed to block it, that shows a lack of self control. That is very bad.

IJWTS- I woke up the most beautiful site in the world. SNOW! It was only about an inch/inch and a half of snow, but I don't think anyone realizes how much I love the snow. I love cold weather and I love the snow. I'm so unbelievably happy right now.

IJWTS- Friday night there is a reception to celebrate the opening of a new exhibit, one I've spent most of my museum time working on, and I kind of wish I had a date to bring with me. There will be free food and wine.
