CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Check out the reach of the cyclone hitting North Queensland. The Sydney Morning Herald: national, world, business, entertainment, sport and technology news from Australia's leading newspaper.
That's not all cyclone, just the effect it is having on the surrounding air streams too.

That's a strange map, isn't the lower part of the US supposed to be a little bigger than Australia?

ijwts- Its sad that it takes some people for certain things to happen for them to change their behavior. But, I'm glad they do.
iajwts- It sad that certain things have to happen to me, for me to change my behavior around others.
I read this today: "Inner resources are slowly depleted until one day there is nothing left. The world caves in and darkness reigns."
Psalm 40:1-2
1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
"But God is good - providing a defense mechanism for those experiences that are beyond our ability to face. He gently tucks them away until we are ready. When we bury pain alive, it keeps popping up at unexpected moments. Pain must be dealt with and buried...dead."
iaajwts- My productivity levels have sky rocketed, but my health is still doing down the toilet. Lets hope that the next four months heals more then destroys. Time is manageable-health is not (if not approached correctly, of course).
Back to work and sanity.
