CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

oh my! I have a pair of jeans, where the zipper likes to randomly fall down. I wore them to work the other day and notice everyone looking down at me pants, and I thought maybe I had a big stain. Instead i see my fly open.
as I quickly hid behind some boxes to zip up without further embarrassment. I don't understand why my life must be full of that type of adventure and excitement.

IJWTS-I was hoping that the Steelers would rally through and win. Regardless of the penalties and turnovers, they gave their best though.

I couldn't agree with you more. I think it's child exploitation plain and simple, and I find it disgusting. Whatever happened to letting kids be kids?

I think it's parent exploitation- do you see the way they let their kids rules their household and life???? Unbelieveable. I think the whole thing messes up the kids and the parents.
IJWTS- that I hate the idea of people having (and using) a sock account. Whenever I see a new poster who seems to have the same posting style of another poster, it makes me all paranoid that there is trickery going on.
Seriously people, if you can't be yourself on a message board- where will you ever be real?
And my co-worker is "sick" today which in office language means too much SuperBowl partying
And America may run on Dunkin' but I happen to run on their lattes. It's become an addiction :o
