CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS snow is only fun when you can stay home and enjoy it. Trying to dig my car out from 1,000 lbs of wet, heavy snow so I can come work for the state nazi's is not fun.

Maybe I just think that signatures period are a waste of screen space. Names twice though is what bugs me the most. CF USED to let us change our options. Now I can't even turn off sigs anymore. Ugh.

Yeah, I'm lucky to have already had sigs turned off. Though what bothers me are the super long sigs. Out of curiosity, does my sig annoy you, too, even though it's different from my username?

Not at all. It's cool that you have a handle, and then your real name in the signature. It just irks me to see the same name (or screenname) two inches apart. It's kinda of like an insult because the person assumes I didn't see it the first time. Must. Throw. In. Your. Face.... to make sure you notice them? I dunno. Maybe I'm letting things bother me too much right now.
I guess this is just another way of expressing my frustration with the Edit Options being turned off.

Predictably eccentric and honestly hypocritical
IJWTS- that the dog my family has had for 15 years got put down today. That makes 2 pets being put to sleep in the space of a month. If I was the cat, I would be really worried right now.
But it's weird to go to my parents house and Fuzz not be there. We got him the month I turned 8 so I can hardly remember not having him.
