Is it just me, or should political topics be in the political forum? I know I sound like a broken record, but these things seem to cause strife, and I would like to see them on a forum where people expect these things. I came here to fellowship online with other believers, not have someone's political propaganda rammed down my throat. I get that enough at work.

I also think this issue should be addressed by the "staff".

IJWTS - I feel my first attempts at growing my own veggies have shown me to have a little bit of a black thumb. However!! - my cabbage and potatoes are now growing!! YESSS!!! A little more sun and they do even better.

IAJWTS - I didn't realise how down and lethargic I was feeling just picking up the caffeine/sugar habit again. Now that I've limited caffeine to one cup of coffee in the morning and refined sugar to that one cup and used natural pick me ups like rice and orange juice throughout the day instead I've had so much more energy and feel so much better.

IJWTS - I stayed up WAY later last night than I have been staying up lately...but it was TOTALLY worth it because I was at my brother's house and my niece and nephew would just not go to sleep...and I got to snuggle with my nephew and pray with him before he went to sleep...



ugh...that was the most beautiful part of my week!

I've had 3 nightmares that are tied for scariest - one about each of my sons and one about one of my nephews. One of them actually brought me to tears - like sobbing out loud tears. Saying a prayer for your nightmare and that you will feel better soon.

Same here. I never realized how much caffeine was affecting me until I stopped drinking it. Now if I have so much as half a soda, I feel the jitters shortly after. Sometimes I wonder how I didn't go berserk during my several-sodas-a-day years lol.

Same with over-eating. I used to do it without thinking twice. Now if I do it, I feel bloated and tired and gassy (TMI, I know) and have a terrible time sleeping.

Kinda shameful that I was living such an unhealthy lifestyle and never knew it. I guess we just get so used to our habits, and we think the way we feel is all mental and not physical in nature. Surprise, surprise.

IJWTS I think Josh and I will hit Six Flags Great Adventure instead of Knoebels next weekend. I LIKE Knoebels much better, but it's a 3.5 hour drive, so we'd have to spend a night in a hotel if we went there, which is just more $$. We can get to Six Flags in about 2 hours, so I can drive home same day and skip the cost of a hotel, even though the park prices are much higher.

Anyone feel like meeting up with us there?
