CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IAJWTS- It was 113F today. I thought I was going to pass out several times.

I love how opposite of weather is experienced on the same continent.
Today it was chilly and it rained all day long.
It was a perfect day because I have been missing the rain so much as of late. The wind was blowing, big overcast skies and the rain was just pouring. Great weather!!!

IJWTS-I had the strangest of dreams from my long nap. I was hanging out with Stephen Colbert. We were hanging out and driving to see his mother. He was talking about politics and his family were joking with him and I got introduced as a viewer who likes him. He was talking about politics and the ability for Democrats in the upcoming elections while wearing a hospital gown for humor sake and joking with his mother who had a German paper and my boots were my work boots and they were filled with beer.
Then I wakeup and see that Sean Hannity is on. My mom loves Fox News, so I swear there is a conspiracy to get me to join the side of the modern conservative movement but my mind fought hard even in my sleep even while my boots were filled with beer[I'm being sarcastic with the end if it wasn't noticed]

Goodness gracious 113? 113? Where ARE you? I thought 104 was bad, especially when the co-worker at new job position decided we'd tour the property at 2 pm. (After the summer, 104 isn't that bad, really.)
