CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Work is very very nice! I may die of over compliments! like even today the person i work with left earlier so i had to call her to ask her something and she told me that my voice over the phone is beautiful *haha what?*

IJWTS~ The teacher I was in a school in (for my internship) let me teach one of his periods today. Because it was rather on-the-fly, I ended up making the kids right down what was already in the book for part of it. Poor kids. I just couldn't figure out how to make reading/using the textbook fun and worthwhile, and they already knew a lot of it anyway. Live and learn, I guess. They will get better later though when I actually have time to look through and plan the lessons, instead of just shooting it out without really having a plan. But teaching experience none the less.

IJWTS - a friend from way back who was a long-time atheist has this year decided that he believes there is a God, just isn't sure who He is. He's sending me questions and talking on FB and I thnk it's just great.
