IJWTS - that my niece and nephew are over for the weekend and wanted to watch Fraggle Rock - so they are in my room doing so, and my nephew walked into my room, turned around, looked at me, and said in a rather concerned sounding voice, "Aunt Mary, you have a lot of books"

Made me chuckle.... I'm glad they are here

ijwts I am a communal creature and when I go through periods of aloneness, I get very very sad and very very lonely. since my return from Urbana, I've only spent 2 nights at home by myself. last night was one of them. I'm so excited to see my friends tonight it's ridiculous. and so happy that Jess gets to come meet them

I have been invited to a church by one of my coursemates .

IJWTS - my large front yard looks like a dead overgrown jungle that died due to excessive heat and little water. I mowed/weeded approximately 1/5 of it today, lost probably a litre of water in sweat, and filled my large green trash bin. Tommorrow I'm ordering mulch.

IJWTS it's so cold! It was in the 30s all day and it rained most of it, too. I wouldn't mind, but I don't exactly own winter clothes living in a tropical location. lol

IJWTS it's like this huge revelation to me that I tend to absorb other people's problems (co-dependence, plus empathy). No WONDER my life has felt like it has!! Note to self: Time for a major change.
