IJWTS - this weekend went by fast... I guess because I spent it doing homework. *Sigh* Back to school tomorrow and we won't get another break 'till Thankgiving... it should go by fast.

IJWTS - do any of you remember my post a month or so ago, about this hotel that refused to cancel my reservation, and they gave me SUCH grief and I was so upset and stressed...? Well, our trip is this coming weekend, and I was thinking about this hotel and how much I did NOT want to go there, and I thought "I'll give it ONE MORE TRY..." So I said a little prayer, picked up the phone, called, and talked to a very nice girl who immediately said "Okay it's cancelled".

I about fell over.



Now we get to stay at this much-more-awesome place with an indoor pool and an arcade and flat screen TV's and and and!! When I told them today that we were coming for Josh's birthday, they said they'd see if their on-site restaurant could surprise him with a cake in our room! I can't wait

IJWTS - I should be doing my homework but I decided not to. I'm just tired I suppose. On the brighter side of things, before I started the semester I prayed that God would surround me with postitive people in all my classes. Well, He infact aswered my prayers. Although my Math and Art calls are in-and-out classes, I did manage to meet two really nice people in my English and Sociology classes.
The girl in my sociology class is actually a Christian as well.
Now all I have to work on is being more comfortable around them and not so shy.

So all that being said, God is good!

IJWTS that sometimes I feel like a burden...and than I feel really bad if I ask for something.

IJWTS-I have come to the conclusion that I am an anti-hoarder. I was watching Hoarders with a friend and it occurred to me that I am the complete opposite. I own practically nothing. Sure most of the reason is lack of funds over the years, but I've never been one to really collect things. Even when I've had the money to buy books, I've only bought them if the library did not have a copy of it...and then donated it to the library when I was done reading it. I also never buy movies and much prefer Netflix. And I don't tend to buy CDs, usually listening to pandora.com or standard radio, but that may change as standard radio becomes more and more of a disappointment. Oh, and I make a habit of regularly donating stuff I no longer use to Goodwill or like stores once a year or every other year.

I guess that makes sense with Gifts ranking a 0 or 1 on love language quizzes.
