CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Today at church, I was given a book titled "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. I found this scripture there and wanted to share it because it seems to fit the purpose of CF..I loved it so much I added it to my signature! 
~9Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. Maybe a novel idea for a musical, but some say a partial fulfilment of that infamous Antichrist prophecy was Caliph Omar riding into Jerusalem, in a way that reminded witnesses of a Daniel description, & building the mosque that bears his name, preventing the offering of sacrifices that could only be done on the site of the TempleKeifer said:
