Yep, what she said- thanks alexnbethmom, as I haven't been here for a few days! Rotel is a staple at our house. Goes in lots of dishes!!! (and you can now get mild Rotel if you don't care for the heat)

How on earth do you make queso, Seajoy?

Can you make your own salsa?

Cheese is not that difficult to make.;) Besides, Seajoy is from Wisconsin! Salsa is not difficult to make either. All One needs is the ingredients. Usually in California, Queso is equated with Goat Cheese though.

I make my own salsa, from my garden-raised tomatoes and peppers. But for cooking I usually use the Rotel. I don't use my salsa for cooking because we use most of it on eggs, or with chips & I like to save it for that! I go through salsa like water- I have to make 50-60 pints and HOPE I make it through the year! (my hubby is a salsa fiend!) :yum:
