Trader Joe's has some goat cheeses that are pretty good. The price isn't insane either. They're not cheap, but... well, I can get a small one.

Hey there Chickie, what's Rotel?

I buy Organic Cream of Tomato soup in... LOL, a box!:p:D Am I easily entertained or what?;) Yeah, Pacific natural foods or something like that. Great stuff for a cold or rainy day.

My husband likes stinking bishop cheese, but the French seem to produce quite the range, as well. Bleu I can handle, but beyond that, I have to remove it from the kitchen to the util room fridge.

Yep, Rotel is the bomb, Stude. If you can get it there, grab a can and try it. I have to concoct my own here, but at least canned tomatoes with chopped chilis is becoming easier to find.

i'm not the chickie to whom you posed the question - but essentially, Ro-Tel is salsa - tomatoes, chilies and spices.....you put it in recipes, dips, mexican dishes, etc.....

RO*TEL ® - Diced Tomatoes, Green Chilies and Spices for Queso, Dips and Zesty Recipes

Yep, what she said- thanks alexnbethmom, as I haven't been here for a few days! Rotel is a staple at our house. Goes in lots of dishes!!! (and you can now get mild Rotel if you don't care for the heat)
