If You're Bored...

I wrote this poem during World History one day. Please tell me what you think, and any improvement you think that I could make.

If You're Bored You're a Boring Person

"If you're bored you're a boring person,"
Is what they always say.
But I'm not a boring person,
And it's a hard thing to keep at bay.

"If you're bored you're a boring person,"
Please don't say it again.
I know I'm not boring, but history is,
And that is just a sin.

"If you're bored you're a boring person,"
You just keep reciting that line.
Please show mercy tot he boring,
For that trait has now been made mine!

Thanks for the advice, and that's not my only poem. It's just the only one that I am willing to post for security reasons.

Sounds like a good poem.
Try writing things that dont rhyme.

I like your rhyming. The last stanza is soooo Byronesque, it makes me really happy!

If you've never written a non-rhyming poem, you should give it a try. It'll help you improve any of your other rhyming ones.
