Sometime when I`m laying in bed, I try to focus on making heat with my hands, I vision a fireball above them and surely, my hands get`s warmer, but there`s no fireball of course, but my point is, the more you practise, the warmer the hands get`s, so perhaps over enough time you can make one, but I guess it`s the same with telepathy, we humans just talk normally to communicate, so there was never probably any reason to send your thoughts to others, but think about it, if you focus all your energy in your head and body to do it, would you ever evolve to do it and have aliens done it already for the fun of it?

You'd have to make sure that the warmth in your hands is actually happening and not just something you feel because you expect to feel it. And if it does happen, you'd have to make sure it isn't from something like increased blood flow or increased nerve sensitivity which could never lead to the formation of a fireball.

I used to indulge in such wishful thinking as a pre-teen, but then I read up on all the information I could find, and discovered that, for all the claims, nobody could replicate them in well-controlled experiments - and of those that claimed they could (I'm looking at you, Jahn & co at PEAR), no-one could duplicate their work.

What one individual tries to do within the confines of their own skull will not change the course of evolution, so no - and if, by 'evolve', you just mean 'personally gain the ability', then no again. The brain only generates tiny electromagnetic fields, crude averages of trillions of neural firings, barely enough to detect outside the skull, has no means of receiving them, and is well-insulated against them.
