I'd like to see 17th century Puritan England, and travel to New England, to be one of the first settlers and explorers like my ancestor John Howland. He was a passanger on the Mayflower and was one of the first settlers of Plimoth Plantation, he later spent several years at their fur trading post on the Kennebec in the wilds of Maine. I'd like to travel to 1640s Boston and speak to John Winthrop and John Cotton and other godly men that founded Massachusetts.

Probably the 1920's. For some reason this era interests me the most.

I love the fashion and architecture of this era. Still, the Great Depression...I have heard so many stories of this time from my grandparents. Interesting choice, though.

I would go back to the turn of the twentieth century in England. Everything was still a bit old-fashioned, but yet everyone was beginning to transition to more modern things. The early nineteen hundreds were exciting, as well, though it probably wouldn't have been called exciting back then.

Second or third on my list after following Jesus, then, being a part of the first church...I would go back to the day of Luther to find out whose side was right! I have just spent alot of time in the OBOB forum, and I would be very interested in knowing how things really were.

I would not go back as far, just to the late 40's-50's when "times were good" values were wholesome and there was NOT so much political correctness.

Yeah, values like segregation and racism are very wholesome. Stop living in a fantasy.

Okay, no need for that. This is just for fun. We don't have to debate everything, do we?

I will like to go back to the 7th century and help the Eastern Roman Empire stop the Saracens from conquering Byzantine territory, so that it would not fall in Muslim hands, that was what led to the fall of Constantinople in 1453, if Islam had been confined to the Arabian peninsula, then the Eastern Roman Empire may have stuck around well into the time of the Thirty Years War and the Treaty of Westphalia. That or go back to the 1950's.

I would go to two places/time periods:

1. I would like to witness the Battle of Lepanto, and then have a talk with Cervantes (who was injured in that naval battle).

2. I would like to visit Rome during the time of the great Emperors. I've been to Rome and would like to see all the old monuments when they were at their best.

I sometimes wish I COULD go back in time, as I do not like modernity. I do not know exactly when, but I would choose to go to sometime between the 1200s and 1600s (a big jump I know, but I think I would need to do more research before narrowing it down more). G~d bless!

If I was to go back in time, I would go to the buffalo bill show in late 1880s-1890's and would meet Annie Oakley and squeeze her real tight in a tight bear hug and give her a whole bunch of kisses on her face and touch her beautiful hair. and I would ask her husband frank butler if he kisses her on her ears. I would hang out with the Native americans and want to listen to ther stories--I would love to meet sitting bull and other famous natives and want to listen to their stories and ask them questions about giants, thunderbirds, etc. Then i would boldly tell buffalo bill and the cowboys, that I'm glad custer got killed--and that the white man does not have ears to listen to Natives and the whole wiping out of Natives and calling Natives the bad guys is satanic and from the pit of hell and then I would tell them that the whole anglo saxon victorian superiority over other races is demonic, too.

If you could go back in time, what year, age, era, would you go back to and why?

I would go back to the day Jesus was baptised so I could follow His ministry.

If I had a time machine and could travel back in history, the historical time period I would most likely visit is the Viking Age (793 AD to 1066 AD!) because I would really want to really experiance how the Vikings really lived their daily lives and etc because the Viking Age is my favorite time period in history in general, the Vikings are my favorite Germanic Tribe/ethnic group, I love how they lived, and etc. Love them! :)

If I could go back in time, I would not do it. I like modern sanitation, medicine and air conditioning. And the internet.
