If you could ask God one question, what would it be?

I wouldn't ask some of the obvious questions, such as "why?", "when?", or "how?". We have the answer to "why?" (at least a good enuff one to keep me happy), "when?" doesn't seem that important to me and when dealing with an infinite God, "how?" just seems....well...pointless. What can't He do? I'd have to agree with KimBot and just ask Him if He would just cradle me in His arms for the rest of eternity.

I know we are not limited in the number of questions we can ask God, but I am curious what the most asked question would be.

What would you ask God? Is there an answer you are still seeking?:pink:  Abi
this is a great question. My oldest who is 11 were discussing about WHERE DID GOD COME FROM? That's what I would ask Him?
Lord,if you made us and this world and everything in it,then who made you?

Why can I only ask God one question? After all, I ask God hundreds of questions every day...what? why? how? when? I am constantly asking God questions, and he always answers them, though sometimes not how I would like them answered. Right now my question would be 'What is your will for the situation I'm in at the moment', but tomorrow it could be different, that's why I'm so glad God is always open for questions

why, knowing that we would mess up and some even deny him and go completely against him, why did he still make us? When he came down to earth and became one of us when he became jesus, he was tryign to show us the right way and we crucified him and spat on him. why didnt he just give up?

I believe that the day I stand in front of the Lord, I won't NEED to ask any questions, because I won't have any. I figure that if there is no more pain, no more sorrow, no more tears, then there will be no more doubts nor unanswered questions.

On a lighter note, I've always wanted to ask Him why He created gnats!

I didn't take the question the OP posted as being when we die and get to heaven but if He were in our presence at this very moment just to answer 1 question for us while we're still here on earth. Did I misunderstand the question?

 I keep meaning to post here with a question, but everything I come up with is either already answered sufficiently in Scripture or I don't really need to know it right now. I think my brain is stuck in low gear. "Impaired judgement, another sign of hunger." I need a Snickers. :yum:
