That is exactly what they said to the Disciples of Jesus Christ also.
i have said it before and i say it now, the Truth that i know and teach was told to me by God Himself, He it is that told me to teach what He has told me to teach, None of what i teach comes from me, nor from my own understanding. But if God told me, those who commit suicide do not have Christ in their hearts, i believe this and teach this as the Truth from God. IF then this thinking or belief comes from my own thinking, i would clearly have said " Well, i think " or " it's my opinion that " or something like that, But what i teach is the Truth and is the Truth of God, and i assure you with no doubts whatsoever if you do not believe me, then you will not believe Him, for it is He who has told me these things. Know you not that it is written:

Rv:21:8: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

i assure you with no doubts whatsoever, if i say it is from God and God told, me, then He did, else let me burn in the fire for all eternity, let me die a horrible slow, painful death, above any pain anyone has ever experienced before. If i say it is from God and it is not, i am a liar, and a blasphemer, which is not forgivable. Therefore i assure you, if i say it is from God Himself, then you would be advised to hearken unto it, and believe, for i do not lie, and i alway tell the Truth. IF then what i teach is contrary to any Scriptures, then do not believe it, but if what i teach is not contrary to any Scriptures, then believe. How is it what i teach is not contrary to Scriptures, but is contrary to what people believe is the Truth. God has revealed many things to me, i have seen angels, and have had conversations with God Himself. i have not failed to tell you the truth. god has called me from my birth to teach the Truth to people in these last days, and i have not failed Him, and have taught everything that He has told me. Many of which i am not at liberty to even discuss with people for the time is not right, but He told me when it is, He will then reveal it to me.
You can either believe God still communicates with people, or He does not speak with people any more. i will not try to convince you of it, but have merely told you the Truth. i would be careful if i were you, Some who say they are teaching the Truth of God, might in fact doing just that.
i forgive you for making a statement towards me, like the one you did. i love you, and desire for you to know the Truth. i am really sorry, if you don't believe God speaks to people any more. But as far as i know, Scriptures stand True. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It is not my fault that today's generation do not believe God speaks to people any more. not my fault at all, they lack Faith that He does.

I have always been taught that you never know what people go through in the last few moments of their life mentally and spiritually. I belive that it depends on if they are right with God before they die. If your friend was saved, and maybe just having some problems, then they knew to talk to God before hand. My prayer is that their soul was accepted into heaven.

As some of you know, I work in a hospital. It's not a place where only believers in Christ walk in the doors and are admitted, but a healthcare center for all military veterans.

I have witnessed, after 21 years, intense physical and emotional suffering. Men and women are brought low by circumstances and conditions that are often beyond their control. War veterans may lose the use of their eyes, limbs, and other parts of their bodies. Any serious sickness, whether terminal or not, can fill with profound pain, disillussionment, depression, loss of hope and loneliness.

Last month, a fellow 38 year old female co-worker who I would often see walking by my workplace, a woman who appeared to be without much turmoil or pain (little did I know), drove to the Sunshine Skyway, a bridge south of St. Petersburg, Florida, where, at its highest point reaches nearly 200 feet. At the peak, she pulled over, parked her car, and leaped, killing herself.

I later learned that she suffered intensely with migraine headaches due to a tumor. In addition, not able to any longer bear the suffering of his wife, her husband announced to her that day that he was divorcing her. That announcement was the straw that broke her resolve to hold on.

We must learn to look at these situations, where, if we are adequately built-up in the Lord, strong in the Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Lord might steer them to us to be comforted, to hear a word in due season that's right and forceable, that will break the yoke.

I worked for a Christian telephone crisis ministry for 17 years. Situations from all possible circumstances were expressed to me by callers.

There will always be suffering and tribulation. We that are spiritual ought to continue to seek the Lord, to dwell in His presence, to bring deliverance to the suffering, to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils through the authority of the Word and atoning blood of Christ.

David,
I enjoyed your post I have been up all night thinking about mine and I was thinking of the way God works in our lives. Especially the way he was working in mine when or around the time my Dad killed himself. God had embraced me in his church, surrounded me with good people called me to serve so I was strong in my faith and resolve as a Christian. I am not said God planned my dad demise at all, but I do think that he prepared me. Because after my dad died I remember I preached two days later. But I had no one to go to but my church family and another church family took me in as a foster child.
But I continued to preach and witness adding my dad’s death as part of my testimony. But to be honest I went through a long period when I turned my back on god that I was suicidal and by the grace of God I am still alive I did die clinically once and he brought me back.{that’s a long story.} He still watched over me and saved my life again as he had already saved my soul. This I know today was training to continue to witness and Preach; I just have a strong testimony that I didn’t have before. But as man or my Dad and family taught suicide at a young age was a permanent solution to a temporary problem, God once again embraced with this past that includes everything from suicide, drug addition to being molested and raped to father my ability to minister and witness to people who have had similar experiences and also to the average person who did not go through those sorts of things as I did also.
I know today what Romans 8:28 means in my life. That everything has happened for a reason in Gods plan. That is for me to be a thorough Minister with a lot of life experiences.

I am sorry for hijacking this reply but I felt compelled to vent or shall I say share. Thank you!

thats not true if her friend was saved their would be know reason for her to take her life.
People who are saved get depressed and do contemplate suicide. I myself have thought about it after my marriage failed. I have a friend that is a Godly woman who in a attempt took an overdose, after she took the pills her husband stood over her and said: You can't die, you haven't seen me kill your son yet. He abused her so badly she wanted to die and made an effort to do so. Fortunately she threw them up and left him for about a year. During that time he was saved. So it's not true if your a Christian that you are free from depression so deep that you might want to take your life. Even Christ said his soul was exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death.

This same woman had a friend who came over who knew of someone who had died and was drunk when they passed. The woman said to my friend: Guess he went to hell because he was not saved. My friend agreed with her, at the very moment my friend felt the Holy Spirit leave her(or back away from her) This scared my friend and she prayed all day to sense the Holy Spirit again. Late that evening she sensed the Holy Spirit again and heard God speak: Don't ever take me off my throne again, you don't know what a person says before they die.

You certainly have known pain and heartache, Rev. Answers for the unfortunate events in our lives aren't always immediate, are they? Sometimes, the very definition of what it is we painfully experience inwardly doesn't appear for years.

Secular psychological terms like "childhood dysfunction" and "inner child work" seek to bring healing of hurts by a therapy that demands a continual bringing up of the past. It does appear to help some folks, but, in my honest opinion, healing is more deeply experienced via a transcendence of circumstances through the cultivation of the presence of God.

Once under the blood, it is best to keep the past in the past, to forget those things that are behind and reach for the the things that are before, by pressing toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The Lord is a hightower. The righteous run into Him and are safe.

I have been asking friends and family this question and also trying to do some research on it and get mixed answers.

I ask this because a friend of Mine whom I was very close with in high school committed suicide on Easter Sunday.. If you know of any answers to this please let me know and thanks!

entrance into heaven isn't dependant on whether you killed yourself or not or if you sinned as your last action on earth or not. it is dependant on the shed blood of Christ and whether you have faith in him. if the answer is yes, then you will go to heaven. if the answer is no, then you will go to hell. committing suicide is irrelevant to your eternal destination.

What's happening? it seems like the whole world is depressed, it seems like everyone is giving up because these are desperate times we live in today.
I feel like killing myself sometimes as well, but by the grace of God, i do'nt because i hold to the hope that He has a plan for my life, He might save me one day.
But why is the world so dismal at this day and age?

You seem very depressed and I will pray for you. I do have a few thoughts for you as well.
Reading your post reminds me of how so many today perceive our world. In truth, I believe much of this come from the media and how they concentrate evil on television and in the news.
In addition the religion of liberal secular humanism has pushed how the earth is being destroyed. By Man. Their philosophy pushes how we are the bane of the earth and all that is wrong. We are destroying the earth with overpopulation and pollution and global warming and yes, even religion.
All negative. The media pushes this view as well.
Years ago, people lived somewhere peaceful and believed things were peaceful, because they did not daily contemplate places where it was not.
Perhaps things are not as dismal as you make it appear.
To me life is beautiful. This incredible glorious creation, that God blesses me to live on. The beauty of a sunset. The beauty of the power of the ocean. The beauty of the thunder of a rainstorm. The beauty of the scent of a rose. The beauty of the touch of my baby’s hand on my face.

The world is what you make it to be. In the film Life is Beautiful, a Jewish book keeper named Guido (portrayed by Roberto Benigni) meets a woman, marries and has a son. After the invasion He and his family are sent to a Nazi death camp. His wife (the boy’s mother) is taken upon arrival. In an attempt to hold his family together and help his son survive the horrors of a Jewish Concentration Camp, Guido imagines that the Holocaust is a game and that the grand prize for winning is a tank. He manages finding Joy amidst unspeakable horror.

The blessed Apostle Paul was imprisoned, yet found Joy. And the Prisons at that time were likely worse than third world prisons of today.

We live in a country founded on the principles that our freedom to live in this world was endowed not by Man, but by God himself! That, in and of itself, is an incredible blessing.

I pray that God will help you to see, that we live in a glorious place!

Remember, count all things Joy!

ITW

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

A friend of mine explained to me that committing suicide is the same as murder and a violation of the 10 commandments (thou shalt not murder)

I honestly don't have an answer for this difficult question.

I do know that God is a merciful God, and He understands fully the heart of someone who kills themselves.

If the person was saved. Yes they will go to heaven. Look what Jesus said in Matthew 12:31:[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Notice Jesus says All sins and Blasphemies Shall be forgiven. All means All.

The only sin that shall not be forgiven is Blasphemy against the holy ghost. Suicide is not blasphamey against the holy ghost.

What an insightful conclusion, thank-you. Two sisters in Christ who were close committed suicide and though my heart kept saying they are home, they are safe, they are in His arms now, I could not shake the voice of those who judged them now unfit for heaven.
Would a child of God be able to commit the unpardonable sin, and how would you know if you had ?

I do'nt know, but the God does say thou shall not commit murder.
And suicide is self murder.

yes that is true, suicide is probably a sin, but if commiting a sin right before you die/ not having time to ask for repentance condemns you to hell, then heaven will be a very empty place.

by that same logic if a beautiful woman bends over in front of me and in my distraction/impure thoughts I get hit by a train ...
