I guess that that little thing does not fall off the end of the DNA when the cell replicates so that there is perfect cellular reproduction.... how does the biology of that work? What keeps living things from dying?
Hello. "Sinlessness" is the antithesis to death, and decay, and corruption and disease, and all that accompanies it.... how does the biology of that work? What keeps living things from dying?
I got a better one. If there really was an eternal God of creation and love who out of love dealt with His creation with eternal justice/judgement and bridged the gap of our failure to chose to honor and glorify Him, how could we ignore or refuse to accept such a gracious gift?
Which is "Good News" indeed, but nothing to do with the matter at at hand.I got a better one. Neither do I or many other Christians, but it's standard YEC doctrine.Who says there wasn't any death before the Fall and that this is definitely implied in the book of Genesis ???
I don't say that.

This response seems odd to me. It seems to say that without the fall, Adam and Eve would have been in the same situation as the restored world described in 1 Cor. But Paul makes it clear that in the new world we are different than here. Not just sinless, but a different kind of body.Neither do I or many other Christians, but it's standard YEC doctrine.
Animal Death Before the Fall?

If Adam ate a carrot, did the plant die?
There was no "second death" before the fall. God walked with Adam and Eve and the Holy Spirit dwelt in them. After the fall the Holy Spirit departed thus the second death became relevant.... how does the biology of that work? What keeps living things from dying?
LOL! So are flies, and especially spiders, and lest i forget, fleas. Some think that carrots are a part of the curse and came only as a result of the fall.
I guess that that little thing does not fall off the end of the DNA when the cell replicates so that there is perfect cellular reproduction.
However, there is no real evidence one way or the other that there was no death before the fall. People ate plants, so the plant eaten sort of died. On the other hand, God is going to create a new Heaven and Earth with no death. So a world without death is clearly not impossible.
