TE's have a problem:
or then they are claiming that science is above God's word and above God which would make science a god and fall under the category of idolatry.
then their problem is:
{their, they = TE's.}
If the scripture and science are equal (i.e. truth) and the scripture is allegorical, then science must be allegorical. For how can they claim that science is compatible with something that is only symbolic?
or then they are claiming that science is above God's word and above God which would make science a god and fall under the category of idolatry.
then their problem is:
where does allegory stop and reality begin, and who makes that decision? It seems quite arbitrary to me and allows a lot of wiggle room in order to justify their firm believe in the god of science and technology
{their, they = TE's.}
