... Then what does God do when Israel Curses itself?

Which part of "Israel" does God side with when one part of Israel curses another part of Israel, and that side curses the other side back?

Does God therefore Curse Israel for Cursing itself?

Do better, Knesset

This is such an excellent point. It reminds me of some parents I've met that make the declaration, "I will support my child NO MATTER WHAT they do".

So - I guess if they make a habit of texting and driving and causing innocent lives to be affected by the vehicle accidents that are the direct result of this - that's okay with these parents? Their children "get their support no matter what".

It begs the question, "what do you mean by 'support'?".

I see it as similar to the "Bless Israel" statement. As the OP points out - what PART of Israel is believed we are to "bless" (to remain in God's good graces)....the corrupt part or the ones that are affected by the corruption?

It's so much simpler and less complicated when we realize "Israel" simply means "the people of God" and people can slip in and out of that identity based on who they are following at the moment with their actions and even thoughts.

The Jewish State of Israel is the fake Israel.
The real Israelites of God are every faithful Christian person.

What will God do to the Jews who remain in apostasy? Isaiah 22:14, Zephaniah 1:14-18, Jeremiah 12:14, Romans 9:27, +

Hello mkgal.
God put some slight stipulations on them:

Exodus 19:
3Then Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, “This is what you are to tell the house of Jacob and explain to the sons of Israel: 4‘You have seen for yourselves what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.
5Now if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, you will be My treasured possession out of all the nations—for the whole earth is Mine. 6And unto Me you shall be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you are to speak to the Israelites.”

Then there is Deut 28

Deut 28:
1 And becomes if to listen, thou are listening, in voice of Yahweh thy Elohiym to observe to do all of His instructions which I instructing thee the Day, and Yahweh thy 'Elohiym gives thee supremacy over all of nations of the land.
13 ‘And Yahweh hath given thee for head, and not for tail; and thou hast been only above, and art not beneath, for thou dost hearken unto the commands of Jehovah thy God, which I am commanding thee to-day, to keep and to do,

15 `And it becomes if not thou are listening in voice of Yahweh thy Elohiym to observe of and to do of all of instructions of Him and statutes of Him which I instructing of thee the day and they come upon thee all of these the curses/katarai/kata/ra #2671 and they overtake thee.
44 “He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

67 In morning thou sayest 'who shall give evening' and in evening thou shalt say 'who shall give morning'. From awe of heart of thee which thou shalt fear and from sight of eyes of thee which thou shalt see"

Isaiah 9:

14 Therefore the LORD will cut off head and tail from Israel,
Palm branch and bulrush in one day.
15 The elder and honorable, he is the head;
The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.

The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD

The day on which Titus encompassed Jerusalem, was the feast of the Passover. At this season multitudes came up from all the surrounding country, and from distant parts, to keep the festival and the city was at this time crowded with Jewish strangers,................
.......The Temple now presented little more than a heap of ruins

The Great City/Harlot/Queen Revelation chapts 17-19

Rev 18:8
“Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine.
And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges[fn] her.

“The old covenant was a contract between the nation of Israel and God. If Israel would obey ALL of the commandments of the Law of Moses, then God would bless Israel (Deuteronomy 28: 1-14). If Israel would not obey ALL of the commandments of the Law of Moses, then God would curse the nation of Israel (Deuteronomy 28:15-68), which included being uprooted from the land. But as we see throughout the OT, no one could keep ALL of the righteous requirements of the Law…
The promises and the curses of the law were a part of the conditional contract (old covenant) that required full obedience. However, since this contract has been removed, the promises and curses have been removed as well. They have been replaced with better promises under the New covenant.”

“…the disciples did live through wars and rumors of wars, persecution, false prophets, earthquakes, famines, and the gospel spreading across the known world. There is ample evidence in scripture and history to confirm these events happened in the 1st century.”

“James states the coming of the Lord is NEAR. he also states the judge IS STANDING ( present tense verb) at the door.”
They were never able to keep them and never will be able to keep them into the ages of ages. ..

Ezekiel 20:
23However, with an uplifted hand I swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them throughout the lands.
24For they did not practice My ordinances, but they rejected My statutes and profaned My Sabbaths, fixing their eyes on the idols of their fathers.

25I also gave them over to statutes that were not good and ordinances by which they could not live.
26And I pronounced them unclean through their gifts—the sacrifice of every firstborn in the fire—so that I might devastate them, in order that they would know that I am the LORD.

27Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel, and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: In this way also your fathers blasphemed Me by their unfaithfulness against Me. 28When I brought them into the land that I swore to give them and they saw any high hill or leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices, presented offerings that provoked Me, sent up their fragrant incense, and poured out their drink offerings. 29So I asked them: ‘What is this high place to which you go?’

This was fulfilled in 70AD...agreed?

Ezekiel 22:

1 And there is a word of Yahweh unto me, saying, 2 ‘And thou, son of adam! dost thou judge? dost thou judge the City of blood? then thou hast caused it to know all its abominations,
17 And there is a word of Yahweh unto me, saying, ‘Son of adam!18 The House of Israel hath been to Me for dross, All of them [are] brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace — dross hath silver been,
19 Therefore, thus said Adonay Yahweh: Because of your all becoming dross, Therefore, behold!
I am gathering you unto the midst of Jerusalem,
20 A gathering of silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, Unto the midst of a furnace — to blow on it fire, to melt it,
So do I gather in Mine anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.
21 And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath<5678>, And ye have been melted<5413> in its midst.
22 As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So are ye melted in its midst, And ye have known that I, Yahweh, I have poured out My fury<2534> upon you.’

EZEKIEL 22 "GATHER HOUSE OF ISRAEL INTO JERUSALEM TO MELT IN FURNACE/GEHENNA/LAKE OF FIRE"

The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD

The tumult and disorder which ensued upon this event, it is impossible (says Josephus) for language to describe. The Roman legions made the most horrid outcries ; the rebels, finding themselves exposed to the fury of both fire and sword, screamed dreadfully ; while the unhappy people who were pent up between the enemy and the flames, deplored their situation in the most pitiable complaints.

Those on the hill and those in the city seemed mutually to return the groans of each other.

Such as were expiring through famine, were revived by this hideous scene, and seemed to acquire new spirits to deplore their misfortunes. The lamentations from the city wore re-echoed from the adjacent mountains, and places beyond Jordan. The flames which enveloped the Temple were so violent and impetuous, that the lofty hill on which it stood appeared, even front its deep foundations, as one large body of fire.

The following that you quoted was not from me initially:

“The old covenant was a contract between the nation of Israel and God. If Israel would obey ALL of the commandments of the Law of Moses, then God would bless Israel (Deuteronomy 28: 1-14). If Israel would not obey ALL of the commandments of the Law of Moses, then God would curse the nation of Israel (Deuteronomy 28:15-68), which included being uprooted from the land. “James states the coming of the Lord is NEAR. he also states the judge IS STANDING ( present tense verb) at the door.”

The above were segments from post 240 of the thread, "Is the land restoration to the nation of Israel found in the New Covenant?" to which I responded in post 252 of the same thread.

At times, when I feel it to be necessary to break down the content of a post to which I am responding, I have taken measures to create a distinction between my initial content and the content of the post to which I am responding so that readers might be able to tell whose content is whose.

If at any time I have somehow neglected to do that, then I apologize to the those whose posts I was responding and for any confusion I may have caused any readers. LLOJ, I am going to have to ask you to re-examine posts 240 and 252 in the thread that you found them and ensure that the content you are quoting is properly attributed to the person who originally wrote it.

I may have responded to the content you are listed as quoting, but I know that I did not initially write it.
