TV, airplane and car.

TV encourages passivity.
Airplane is like cheating. Humans aren't meant to fly.
Cars create pollution and cause too many accidents

Air-conditioning would leave us relatively unscathed since most of human history summers were tolerated without it. So it would be a relatively minor inconvenience, maybe making our trips to the washers more frequent and the increased use of the fan.

Eliminating the clock would pose problems with organizing our lives.

But of the three the more serious consequence would be a world without the Xray because of its importance in medical diagnosis.

So, humans. Cool.

Which human first?

Who will stop pollution first?

The governments, don't think so.

The Global Warming proclaimers, don't think so, they own too big of a mansion.

How about the UN, well unless they start paddle-boarding to UN headquarters, don't think so.

How about all of us using power to communicate on this Forum?

So who's first?

Elimination of the TV would send us back to listening to the radio. So I'm not sure where we will be less prone to passivity by its elimination. Whole families gathered around the radio listening intently to comedy, music, sports events, the recent news, political speeches. It was the wonder intention of its time which to us now seems inferior to TV but for those of that time it was all the mesmerizing rage that TV is today.

Elimination of the airplane would drastically cut down on international travel and we would have to rely on ships as we once did.

Elimination of cars would make us rely more on the railroads and maybe a return to the horse and buggy and would perhaps increase the usage of bicycles. But it would definitely cut down on pollution which is a plus.

All eliminations would affect us and the world would be a far different place. It is a matter of how serious the effect would be.

1)TV.
2)Computer.
3)Snack size candy packs.

I can tolerate the removal of TV and the candy but not my pal Mr. Computer.
I would rather be strung and hung by my toes from the window shingles than to lose that.
