  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If Evolution doesn't have morality, when will Evolution evolve morality?

You want morality or you wouldn't have come to a Christian site.

Nice guess at our motivations. Wrong, but nice guess anyway.

But a tiny hint. If you look at which subforum you are on, you'll notice it is Physical and Life Sciences. There actually is an ethics and morality subforum on Christianforums. Notice how this isn't it?

incorrect. I personally came here to correct misconceptions of scientific theories and concepts. I didn't come here in pursuit of morality. I don't know where your mind is at.

Lie.

How could the principles of what you are going to, not be the first thing on your mind.

Unless you knew the truth, before you knew the truth... but how would that be possible?

Hence observation.

Don't you get it?

I don't even have to think about your theory, to know that it is bogus.

Morality DENIES your version of reality, before I even HEAR IT

Well, I'll give you this. It is very clear that you do not think about the theory of evolution.

If I might give a little hint. If you'd start doing that, you might actually start understanding it. Now hop to it. Start learning, gottiboy.

Wow! Great of you to have confidence in something (this will help).

This is actual the fundamental problem with Evolutionists, in a nutshell, a total nutshell:

Morality pertains to all subjects. Evolution pertains to development.

Hence (and I hope you think I am just making this clear) Morality applies to Evolution. Evolution does not apply TO ALL MORALITY.

Somehow (sin) you think that because you can tell an immoral story (a fantasy is an immoral story, you don't want your story to be moral, I'm just referencing you right now) that if I don't tell a bigger one, you get the right to tell me what morality is. One problem, MORALITY IS A BIGGER STORY THAN EVOLUTION or did you think I got worked up about your "integrity" because I was worried I was going to lose?

Far from it, I knew what I knew morally helped because YOU morally failed in WWII, and I was morally tested by general lack of faith, that follows the precisely IMMORAL path Darwin took (to Hell and the Devil, no less)

what the heck?

Confess the lie

and preferably to God

do you think I want to marry you?

i hope you don't want to marry me.

and i'll confess my supposed lie to god under 2 conditions:

1. he/she/it becomes evident
2. he/she/it cares whether i lie or not

I do get it.

you have never tried to understand the theory of evolution.

What part of "how does Darwin help you be moral?" mean to you?

What part of "would you let someone be fitter than you?" mean to you?

What part of "what happens if you mutate the wrong thing?" mean to you?

These are practical questions that originate with your hierarchy of significance... not Christianity's.

You claim "innocence" but have no idea what it means THEN you accuse me of trying to distort the facts, before it is even clear you are doing anything but LIE THROUGH YOUR TEE

And don't think I want to beat the truth out of you

all I am looking for is a point of agreement about where your subdefinition of morality begins (and possibly what it signifies to you)

you are fully mistaken however, if you don't think I am going to crush the life fully out of your theory

welcome to a world where someone with more Wisdom than you can seem like more of a predator than you will ever be

What part of "how does Darwin help you be moral?" mean to you?

it's like asking how does Einstein help you be moral. it's silly. he doesn't and neither does Darwin. their theories also equally don't affect my morals.

What part of "would you let someone be fitter than you?" mean to you?

this doesn't make any sense. if people could change their genes to become fitter then the question might be answerable. but because that's not feasible, i don't think i can answer that question.

What part of "what happens if you mutate the wrong thing?" mean to you?

as in cancer? or do you mean during meiosis or when the zygote is dividing? because mutations can occur at different points and many things can go wrong if the mutation bears nothing beneficial.

These are practical questions that originate with your hierarchy of significance... not Christianity's.

i don't think you know what the definition of practical is.

i never claimed innocence. i just claimed i wasn't lying. you claimed i was lying about my purpose for coming here. prove it.

you do distort the facts and you constantly ask loaded questions and post threads with said questions.

Ah! That's it: irony.

Irony is your reason to be moral.

Isn't it ironic, that you were slime and then you were snake?
Isn't it ironic, that you were snake and then you were man?
Isn't it ironic, that you were man and then you became a god?

I see now that your understanding of a moral act, is the exercise of the most possible irony:

Isn't it ironic that you believe in survival of the fittest, but you are still moral?

So much hinging on irony. If you did not make a point of assembling examples of irony, you would look foolish

AND LOOK I HAVE DONE IT FOR YOU!

Isn't it ironic that some guy called you an animal, and you still helped an old lady cross the street?
Isn't it ironic that your mates all believe in animism, and you still did the best you could in your job?

Isn't it ironic...

sorry, but a post of rebuttals does not constitute a wise post.

Consider:

A person who is moral, for reasons of irony, cannot help but make a quip about the truth.

EDIT: AND FOR the record, I personally have summarized my understanding of Evolution as: environmental pressure, mutation & speculation (hinging on the moral record of an English botanist from 1800). I'm sorry but I don't think a rational person, can honestly see more in it than that. The stuff about monkeys is just ludicrous. Oh, but you can try to retract whatever you like, right? I'll see what I have to say about that next!

I believe this is the only appropriate response to your bizarre, incoherent reply.
