I was thinking today, only a mind can really be random in it acts, the amount of heat the suns gives us, isn`t really very random since everything affects everything else in the same way if was produced, not even artificial intelligence and so forth, can be random, because it`s just programmed, only a mind of an animal or a human and so forth can be random in it`s acts, which again proves that there`s no god behind it all because everything in nature is just a result of a chain-reaction from the suns or what do you think about the matter?

If this is another way of saying 'physics is everything' - I agree, apart from the bit about minds being random. Minds are also a product of physics. :)

I don’t know why at the end you concluded that God must then only be the non-random chain reactionary portion of reality. In the most basic form of the word, God means the ground of reality. I don’t see how secondary (inferior if you will) substances/entities would be privy to more advanced attributes such as the freedom of having non-randomness, yet the actual ground of reality itself would not contain those attributes.

To me the opposite would make more sense, it would make more sense to me that the ground of reality is the highest form of existence, and therefore would have the greatest amount of higher attributes; whereas secondary entities such as me & you (that are contingent on the primary ground of reality) would enjoy a smaller list of higher attributes.

I’m watching Teen Wolf right now, are you seriously gonna tell me that the Beta will have more abilities than the Alpha? Last part was just a joke lol

Well I was trying to match your wording from the OP, but I guess not so much random in the sense that matter is obeying the laws of nature. By non-random I was going with your wording to mean that conscious beings could set an alternate course into motion, unlike molecules in motion that are sort of just riding the wave of the laws of nature all the time (although I don’t think this fully describes it either).

Most of our bodily processes are inaccessible to our will, they do “Randomly” obey the laws of nature. But I think that our will somehow initiates/imposes a domino effect in brain neurons causing a cascade of free will actions to occur, as opposed to every human just laying down in a vegetative state right now. It’s also pretty well established that our attitudes and stress levels alone can greatly influence our bodily processes (the trillions of mechanical processes involved in our health) that in many ways is independent of our control direct control. So there’s this interesting mixture going on with automation & free will in our bodies. I think the same type of mixture is present in the universe (due to all the intentionality we see all around us).

I think we control everything really because some children are born without a brain

There's randomness in physics at the quantum level.

And I'd like to think that my actions were not random. I (mostly) think before I act.
