If creationism is true, then why is it useless?

He's right, you've mixed up your time periods.

You referenced the 'industrial revolution' in relation to the Grapes of Wrath, which was set during the 1930's Great Depression. Whereas, the Industrial Revolution took place in the late 1700's to early 1800's.
The industrial revolution is still alive and well today. It is a part of the neolithic revolution that has been going on for many thousands of years sense the time of Adam. Today robotics is a special chapter in the industrial era because we have a shift from labors to technicians. Also we have a marriage between polymer science and 3D printers as we develop new building techniques.

I have studied science, history and the Bible.
Yes, yes. You are fond of telling us this as if no one else on the planet had done this. Gues what! Those who have studied science, history and the Bible - and they number in the tens, or hundreds of thousands - have not arrived at the same conclusions as you. That's probably because they are better students. You might try listening to what they are saying occassionally. It may not be too late for you.

Ah, so you've made up your own definition of "the industrial revolution". Got it.

He's redefined most of science, history and the Bible (which he has studied extensively) so you have to applaud the consistency.

Yes, according to Wiki: "it is debatable whether we have left the Industrial Age already or are still in it and in the process of reaching the Information Age." The Industrial Age had a beginning, a time and a place. Yet there are still underdeveloped countries today that are still entering into the Industrial Age. A new age can not begin until we are weaned of our dependency on fossil fuel.

Industrial Age and Industrial Revolution are not the same thing. The Industrial Revolution led to the Industrial Age.

This is not difficult to understand unless you deliberately miscontrue some very straightforward concepts.

Yes, according to Wiki:

The very first sentence on that wikipedia page says....

The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes in the period from about 1760 to sometime between 1820 and 1840.

Talk about selective blindness.

  • When did god smack down the Tower of Babel?
According to Bishop Usher that took place in 2242 BC five years after the birth of Peleg. According to Josephus Nimrod build Babylon and the tower of Babylon. The foundation is still there today in Iran. Saddam Hussein tried to rebuild the city and he was not able to. During the war in Iran the American soldiers liked to take their photo standing on the ruins of that tower.

Which means we shouldn't see any evidence for different languages prior to that event, correct?

Correct.

Genesis 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

Correct.

Genesis 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

So if we did find evidence of different languages prior to that, then Ussher's chronology could take a hike, correct?

What do my Boolean standards say?

My Boolean Standards:
1. Bible says X, science says X = go with X
2. Bible says X, science says Y = go with X
3. Bible says Ø, science says Y = go with Y
4. Bible says Ø, science says Ø = speculate

But the Bible isn't part of this equation -- it's James Ussher vs. Reality.

And by “Boolean Standards” you really mean, cognitive dissonance.
