While there have been several post-apocalypse threads, correct me if I'm wrong, but there has never been a thread about people in little spaceships. Why not? Little spaceships are cool. But not like the Lucas ones, cuz' lasers are <|24o. Everyone knows spaceships would use machine guns. The problem, of course, is that people in spaceships are either stuck on a big spaceship or can't talk to each other.

I like lasers! They're pretty and make cool sounds (even though everybody knows that there wouldn't really be any sound in outer space).

I was thinking earlier... you nkow what hasn't been done (at least not that I've seen)? An underwater rpg. With mermaids and mermen. But not girlish in anyway. I mean there'd be sharks and giant squid and killer whales and sea monsters and junk.
It sounds kinda sissie even tho its not. What does everyone think?

Exactly! Little Mermaid is the sissified version (tho I didn't know til watching it recently that Ursula was IMPALED. I always thought as a child that he popped her like a balloon!)

Don't make fun of my childhood fave! Really her sisters were the freaky ones. At least Ariel was adventurous. You know, sneaking through sunken ships and all that. And at least Disney got the musical thing down pat. Mermaids are known for their song.

Hmmm.... merfolk.... an interesting idea, so long as it isnt the disneyfied merfolk.

I have been PMing Locket back and forth about an idea I had. Its a near future(maybe not near... more like, maybe 100 years tops?) rpg, and we would be playing as mutants(nothing incredibly fancy, but better than normal humans). Think lepers in the future, kinda. Scavenging for necessities and trying to survive a war between two forces that are battling for control of the planet. Its based on the Command and Conquer series, and I will explain the story if you are interested(and I will post a link if my explanation is too confusing)

Well, 'disneyfied' means that there's almost no conflict. And even the creepy chars don't look all that creepy and they're actually kinda funny. That's my take on it, anyway. Oops. Did you want an explanation or was that a rhetorical question? Oh, well, I'm rambling, so I'll shut up now.....
