  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I got to try a new PC with an i5-7600K and a GT 730. The i5-7600K was lightning quick, probably 30-50% faster than the i7-2600 I have tried in the past. I'm not kidding.

I did experience one problem though. The case came with a broken leg. I tried to brush it off for awhile and try the PC anyway, but the leg seemed to get worse, so I talked to the company that sold it to me and am exchanging it for an exact replacement. The replacement should be here some time.

My case is primarily metal and the side panel is slightly loose. It is the most annoying thing when playing a game that requires fans to run, as you can hear a loud buzzing noise from the side panel vibrating against the rest of the case.

Now I know why the new i5's are a bit too expensive! Apparently, the improvement in performance is decent.

The Ryzen processors of the same price I hear are better at many-threaded applications. But certainly not at single, dual or quad threaded.

Intel and Nvidia ROCK!

I agree. I used to like AMD and Radeon. However, Radeon cards often run hot, and AMD's processor division took a serious nosedive for awhile.
