Went shopping at my upscale supermarket today and was shocked to see the toilet paper shelves virtually empty. All that remained were a few single rolls of Scott's (most expensive). I would have thought that my upscale, liberal, yuppie fellow customers were more aware.
Oh well.

To be fair I think it's a snowball effect, the smart people are the dumb ones now. The idiots run out and grab them all causing a shortage so self fullfillingly become the smart ones. plus I'm starting to think ahead myself, not in a panicked mode but for food and such

Non Perishable food stuffs. Water. Non Electric water filtration. The ability to cook, and prepare meals without power. Batt power radios, lights, phone chargers...... there are so many things I would understand.

But why are people freaking out over toilet paper? If you think there would be a systematic interruption to the supply chain some things might be a bit more important. Just sayin.
