It's not that you can't become a Christian-it's simply because you don't want to. Maybe you should give yourself a rest from all the faith searching. Becoming a Christian is not an overnight process. Once you start truly believing in God and Jesus Christ, and once you start feeing that strong connection when you pray(if you pray!), then you can call yourself a Christian. Doubting one story will not change your beliefs and won't make you question yourself about your faith. Also, believing in God because you're scared of death is not a right way of thinking, at least that's what I think. Because you shouldn't search for dear God only when you are scared/lonely or at the end of the life path. You should search for Him everyday, thank Him for today, and ask Him to lead you tomorrow. The role of the Scriptures is so important about getting to know the Lord Jesus. Also, the lives of Christians should commend the Gospel.

I want to be a Christian but I can't. I would like to believe in god but the thing is I just can't due to certain questions I have in mind. Like the redsea parting, the ark and a few more. I don't know maybe it's because I'm scared of death that I'd like to believe in god. If it matters I was sort of a Christian years ago and well kind of just lost complete faith for reasons.

Why not seek somewhere else? Why keep coming to the same place where you got disappointed?
