Considering the fact that the revelation of God's handiwork as seen in His created universe resoundingly contradicts a literal interpretation of Genesis, no.

Im only trying to say, God knows more than any of us so the argument can get silly and overblown. The whole point is God made the heavens and the earth (gen 1:1) and everything in it, inc us (gen 1:27) it doesnt matter how he did it! And for us to say exactly how he did it is like we are trying to be better than him, creationist or evolutionist!
