Ok so this RPG is for Maximumride and me only. So I decided to take us back to the Oblivion Universe Max. And i hope you don't mind me making it for us only. here's my intro, its kinda long, sorry.
Jessie Jordan woke suddenly. Where was she? Where was Victoria? She was in a prison. She could tell. But where? The prisoner in the cell across from her snored loudly. The cell she was in was barley big enough for two bedrolls, a table, and two chairs. It was dirty, and smelled worse than sewer water. Another prisoner lay on the other bedroll. She brushed her light brown hair out of her eyes and walked up to the cell door. The prisoner in the cell across from her stirred, and glanced around sleepily. When he saw Jessie he got up and walked up to his cell door wearing an evil smirk.
“My, my, what have we here?” he said. Jessie glared at him. “A Breton barely 16 rotting in a cell in the Imperial city prison, and such a pretty one as well.” Well she now knew where she was. “Just try using your magicka in here! Make those bars disappear. It’s too bad. So young. You’re not getting out until they throw your body in the lake! That’s right! You’re going to die in here Breton! You’re going to DIE!”
“Oh you don’t know the half of it…” Jessie said continuing her glare, “…Kinar Halfred. Born in Vvardenfell, in Balmora. Left because of all the issues going on there. You had a wife who divorced you because of your recent crime spree. You had four kids. You tried to pickpocket the captain of the guard. Must I go on?”
The prisoner gawked at her. “H...how...how…how did…you know...that?” he stuttered. Then he regained his composure and said, “You could have found that out easily, Breton!”
“Ok then. How about this? You collect cutlery. Your father was part of the dark brotherhood…”
“Stop! Stop! I get it!”
Jessie waved her hand in front of her, “You will not insult anyone for the rest of your days. You will not steal or vandalize again” she said.
The sound of a door opening echoed down the hall. The man retreated back to his bedroll.
“Close that door behind us!” said a female voice.
“Yes ma’m” sounded a male voice.
“My sons, they’re dead aren’t they?” said another male voice as the first man stopped at her cell door. Blades. The Emperor’s personal guards.
“We don’t know that, sir. My job right now is to get you to safety” the woman said as she came into view. She was a Blade too. A man in a velvet robe with lots of gold trim, the Emperor, and another blade followed her. Then she saw Jessie and the other prisoner who had woken up.
“What are these prisoners doing here?! This cell is supposed to be off limits!” shouted the female Blade.
“Must have been a mix up with the watch…I…” stuttered the male Blade.
“Never mind that” said the female Blade, “Get that door open!” then she looked at Jessie and the other prisoner. “Stand back, prisoners! We won’t hesitate to kill you if you get in our way! Over by the window!” she said.
Jessie and the other prisoner stepped back towards the only window in their cell. The Blades opened the door and walked in. The Emperor walked in the other prisoner’s direction.
“You. I’ve seen you” he said, “Let me see your face. You are the one he described. Then the prophet was right; today is the day”
“Who are you?” asked the prisoner.
“I am your emperor, Emperor Uriel Septim” he answered. The girl’s eyes widened. “Assassins killed my sons and I’m next” he continued.
“Do you know why I was thrown in jail? I didn’t do anything wrong” she asked.
“I don’t know" he responded
“Sir, we don’t have time for this” the female guard said. Then she walked over to the wall and pushed a stone. A secret door opened.
“Looks like today’s your lucky day” said the male guard who hadn’t spoken yet. Jessie had never met the man and he wasn’t famous but she knew his name was Baurus “Just stay out of the way” He followed behind the rest of the group. Jessie waited for the prisoner to go first then walked in after them.
“What’s your name?” the prisoner asked Baurus.
“I can’t answer questions right now prisoner” Said Baurus.
“My name isn’t prisoner! It’s Jasmine!” the prisoner retorted. The group walked into a medium sized room with several balconies above. Jessie looked up at one. She knew that that’s where the ambush would come from.
"5..." Jessie counted down.
“What?” said Baurus.
“…4…” Jessie continued.
“What are you doing?”
“…3…”
“Why is she counting?” asked Jasmine.
“…2…”
“This doesn’t sound good” Baurus said. He pulled out his sword. Everyone else did likewise.
“…1.” An assassin jumped from the balcony attempting to stab the Emperor as he came down, but Jessie pushed the Emperor out of the way.
“Thank you prisoner. Now protect yourself” said the Emperor.
The assassin charged Jessie who appeared unarmed. But at the last moment she pulled out her lightsaber, turned it on, then pointed it at the charging assassin. He tried to stop but it was too late. Jessie turned towards the awed Blades and smiled. She put her lightsaber away and went on like it was nothing.
“It’s a…summoned blade, called…the saber of light. That’s why the blade glows” Jessie explained.
