  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

i'd wake up and if i was sick, i'd call her at work and she'd call school and tell them i was sick. then i stayed home curled up in a blanket, watching movies endlessly. then she'd come home and make me soup or whatever. sigh.

now, it's get up, go to class, suck it up, come back home, and sleep. college is a bit unforgiving this way cos if you miss a class, they expect a note from a doctor. it's no fun to go to the doctor just for a class pass.

i miss my mom.

thought i'd share with everyone whose children are in college. just a friendly reminder that cold season is here, and your children still need you. so go to your cupboards and grab the cans of soup and send send send. don't forget money and medicine - cookies, too.

have a good evening to parents everywhere. ;)

and yes, we still need you. shout out to dads, too, i suppose.

Boy, don't I hear ya. I miss my Mama so much when I'm sick. Instead of being a student though, I'm a young mother. So, even when I'm sick, I still have to take care of my child. There are times when I just want to curl up on the couch and cry for my mommy. lol

I really do think that growing up pretty much stinks. *laughs*
