I over life. I am broke, unemployed and in debt. I feel I am a mistake in this world. Nothing really tends to work for me. If God can answer one prayer, it be to shorten my life.

I am a Christian and I over Christians over there that state when one becomes a Christian their life becomes better. That is a lie.

Pray for me.

We live in a fallen world and would suggest studying theology of the cross. It makes much more sense of our existence as Christians.

Thanks guys. It not easy and its hard as even if I have a job, its hard to keep it. If I had more money I would even give more to Christian charities and ministries too. I also university educated and have a huge student loan too. I feel I have wasted my life going to university as have not gotten a really good job that pays well, and not a job that is linked to my work at all.

I will look into the theology of the cross.

Thanks for your prayers, it not easy and I feel I am being attacked left, right and in front of me, even from a debt collection agency. It is being sorted out. Only God can help and provide for me at this stage.

Being someone who has been unemployed for six months with a mortgage payment and wife I feel for you brother. Even if you don't think you're supposed to be here God knows why. I will pray a long term job would surface. Those six months of unemployment were the toughest time of my life so far. After about three months I figured God wanted my attention. In my life when God wants my attention he takes away things that I think I "NEED." He taught me so much about true Faith and believing that HE would provide my daily needs. It wasn't easy but now I am certain God will provide because he promised to never forsake those who believe him.

Hang in there. It may be uncomfortable and not ideal but God has you in the palm of His Hands.

Yes, it is a challenge. I completely agree. In this time of having a more free schedule I will encourage to dig deeper into God's word. I personally am reading The Praying Life by Paul Miller. It has helped me go to God more freely in prayer.

When feeling down (which I do feel often) instead of focusing on my circumstances I look at how BIG God is. He can and will take care of me in His timing.

I would also encourage to volunteer in your local church in some capacity. People want to encourage you in your walk and you have to decide to go and be present.

I haven't read that one. What have you learned from it?

Fasting isn't my strong suit as I've only done it twice, but it helped me connect more deeply with God.

The only way I can function in this unpredictable life is to not look inwardly for comfort but look up to our Father.
