A mass murderer can persist in doing good but would that make him a good guy if he doesn't stop murdering?Christians are those who persist in doing good. We are the only ones who can. But, that's not what saved us.

Very good. Now, let's say this mass murderer accepts Christ and he renounces mass murder but yet he believes he will murder at least one or two more times in the future over the rest of his long life because of his great struggle to resist in murdering people. Let's also say he does many other good things now and he continues to persist in doing good in many things. Is this a good guy?Ummmmm, a mass murderer is not doing good. A mass murderer, mass murders, because he is a mass murderer.

If not, then how is the OSAS Proponent who says they will always sin in some way over the rest of their lives any different?
That's your bunny hole.
Place the emphasis on works, as you do, and you only motivate dead works of the flesh. Emphasis Christ and living by faith in Him, and He will surely produce in and through those who do so good works of eternal value.
Why are you taking this opportunity to boast about all the good works you do not boast about? Also, I believe God does the work in me so there is no boasting in anything that I do. Jesus gets all the glory and praise. For it's why the 24 elders had cast their crowns down before Jesus.
....
Please take note that you can substitute other horrible sins for the same scenario that I made above like rape, stealing, child abuse, drunkeness, etc.
Can a person be a good guy and admit to doing that they will do these types of sins at some point in the future?

I am giving praise to the good works of God done in believers. This is not boasting in oneself but it is giving glory to God.Why are you taking this opportunity to boast about all the good works you do not boast about?
Love, joy, peace, faith, etc.God does what work in you?
You used the words 'me' 'I' so it's not about other believers.I am giving praise to the good works of God done in believers. This is not boasting in oneself but it is giving glory to God.
...
Love, joy, peace, faith, etc.
These are His works.
So give glory to God
Jesus said there is a "greater sin." Jesus said that the sin of blaspheming the Holy Ghost cannot be forgiven. John said there are sins that do not lead unto death. Peter said that baptism did not save us so as to put away the filth of the flesh (sin). So not all sin is the same.Aren't ALL sins "horrible"? Remember, Jesus reserved His harshest words for the mostly hidden sins of hypocrisy, pride, greed and legalism.

What are your verses for each point specifically?Jesus said there is a "greater sin." Jesus said that the sin of blaspheming the Holy Ghost cannot be forgiven. That is good to hear.I didn't say all sin was the same in that post, I said all sin is horrible.
What are your verses for each point specifically?
I think I've been around this bend before with your point about sins that do not lead unto death.
What do you think John 15:5 is saying then? All of us who are abiding in Christ give glory to God for that. But, you go way beyond that, and you know it as well as everyone else.
