I Need Suggestions for a Video Game for PS2!!

Anyone have any suggestions on any good strategy war games? I remember playing Ogre battle on SNES a long time ago and I liked that alot... I don't want to get any RPG strategy game like Final Fantasy.. I want to be able to move characters around on a battle field or bring in airplanes to bomb a certain area and strategize from there, hopefully there are games out there like that ... Any suggestion welcomed...

Two games I would suggest you rent would be Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. Both are excellent games. Star Ocean is an RPG with real time combat, combos, special moves, magic, etc. and it is a very long game. Ace Combat is a very realistic, very fun combat flight simulator. Both have great graphics, and both, I believe, are well worth the money. I own Ace Combat, and I would own Star Ocean if I was pretty much broke right now

Mercenaries may be what you're looking for. You control a single merc on a mission to bring down tyrany in North Korea. You can call in supply drops, air strikes, etc. very fun.

Ogre Battle is amazing. Sorry, but I can't think of anything on the PS2 that fits your description.

Here's a question for you, Dizzy: Have you ever played Everquest: Online Adventures for the PS2?
