Though I do not know the details of your situation, I assume you see this condition as something negative as well as something perhaps even supernatural since you are here in a Christian forum asking for advice. Though I am not one to jump to pointing fingers at demons (Satan's evil angels) it could very well be. As I have heard in a quote a long time ago, "Demons delight in two things: our disbelief of their existence, or interest and unnatural appeal for them." It would be dangerous to just say that it could not be a demon. I also do not know your religous background but I do know that God is willing to help anyone who comes to him asking for his help. If this is something you truly wish to rid yourself of then I can say there is no better option then to go to God. The doctors couldn't help but then again, who is the Healer after all?

I would be very thankful if you could give me your opinion on a situation I have. I have been tempted to seek a priest for sometime now to ask for his help on my situation. I have yet to partially because I am agnostic but mainly because the situation is somewhat (for lack of a better word) crazy. I will tell you the situation and perhaps you can tell me your advice and also how you think a priest would react if I told him this.


My situation is rather ad normal (to say the least) so I know my words will be meet with at least a small amount of skepticism. I beg of you to consider the amount of help you could give to a confused youth compared to the cost of being a cyber punks joke.


As far back as I can remember I felt small "tingling" feelings brush along the surface of my skin. I always thought it was normal and not worth mentioning until roughly when I was 13 the "tingling" turned into strong jolts of a strange "energy" feeling. These jolts would cause minor seizures which would last for a few seconds at most. At first the "energy" seemed to come at random times and make me jerk about and make a strange noise as all the air from my lungs was expelled through my clenched mouth (this was very embarrassing as you can imagine). I don't wish to make this post into a mini novel so I will skip ahead 5 years to the present. I still get the "energy" feeling but I have over the years learned to control it. I used to have at least 5 unexpected seizures a day and now I enough control over them to the point that I only have roughly one unexpected a week. I can also now cause the "energy" feeling to rush through my body and cause a seizure at will (I did not mention but having jolts of strange "energy" rushing through me is a rush which is hard to beat and I have become somewhat addicted to it). I can also now flow "energy" through me with out causing seizures, this has an interesting affect when allot of "energy" is gathered at one spot. The saturated area loses most of its feeling except for the overwhelming feeling of the energy. I could go on for a very long time describing it but I think that is enough for now.


I have gone to psychologists and doctors in order to find an explanation to my situation but after several MRI's EEG's and therapy sessions, the combined lot have told me it is most likely physical, the EEG's pick up nothing, and they have no clue what is happening to me. They tell me not to worry because it does not seem to harm me at all, except for the time I received a very odd burn on my back after a very nasty "energy" rush there. I only roughly told them what I told you above (I don't think I told them I could concentrate the "energy" though, and only one new of the burn and she was the least informed on the rest), I never told them the whole truth for fear of them seeing me as a freak.


This part is by far the weirdest so I'll just say it. I seem to display physic like tendencies. I'll list some of the things I seem to be able to do but I wont give any examples for fear of making the post to long. I've controlled the actions of insects, done impossible things with dice and cards, seen into other peoples minds, magnetized metal by touching it, and knowing things before they occur. As I said this part is the weirdest and I have allot of trouble writing this down so I would request that you not slander me by calling me a liar, simply saying something like I'm insane would sting less.


I have only told the tip of the iceberg to you because I do not want to take up anymore of your time. I thank you for reading my post and I would be very thankful if you would tell me your opinions and also how a priest would react.

I saw a show last night on unusual medical conditions. A woman had some of the symptoms you describe since a high fever as a baby. She would blank out sometimes, and sense an aura, and get strange feelings she couldn't describe.

She went to many doctors, and no one understood or believed her, until midlife when a neurologist told her she had epilepsy. They put her on meds, did surgery, and she improved tremendously.

I know that you're accepting this now, but do you think it's something that could ever impair your driving, or operating machinery? You don't have to answer...I'm just giving you a direction to research.

Thanks for your concern philemon. I'm still here, and I'm sorry I've been absent for so long. I've been away from my computer for awhile (My girlfriend just got back from Cuba (Graduation Trip) and some of my friends have returned from University). Sadly all that time I have spent with my friends has left me with a half finished assignment due tomorrow. I'll post a longer post when I'm done my work.

You also know that you are, in some way, either consciously or sub-consciously, holding on to this condition. Because you question above "should I cast away what could be a gift from God" - that puts you in some control of the situation.

I do not know if I can simply disconnect it from myself. I'm also far to afraid to try and disconnect myself from this. I sometimes get moments of paranoia were I feel akin to Golem and the ring, and hope it never leaves me. I don't know what causes this feeling but I'm guessing that its the fear that if this dissipates I'll be left with no more clues on the mysteries of my life. I feel sometimes that my life is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. Even my genes are a mystery (My mother is red/green color blind which is recessive and carried on the X chromosome. Due to this there is a 100% that I am color blind, yet I'm not... I spoke to a color blind Prof who specializes in genetics and he was dumbfounded..).

I, personally, do not believe that what you have described in your condition is of God - because He does not orchestrate confusion and anxiety. With that said, from a spiritual perspective, I think it is harmful for you to regard this condition as some sort of "gift."

I wish god would tell me what to do. I wish anyone could tell me what is happening to me and what will happen to me. One might compare me to the Jews when they were condemned to wonder in the desert. Perhaps there is a light of clarity once I step out of this cloud. I wish I wasn't alone. I know you are all there supporting me and I'm very thankful, but in the end I truly am alone with this. Why does no one else feel this?

I don't mean to pry, but I would like to know if you have ever dabbled in the Occult. You do not have to be afraid of admitting this to me if you have.

But you can PM people you run across. It's a dense collection of people who consider supernatural forces a very normal part of life.

You've said that you don't want to get rid of this, but in case it ever gets to a point that you want to free yourself, you can tell it to go.

There are electronic charges associated with seizures. That might relate to the magnetism.

It would take a very impressive charge in order to do this, but I agree that it is a likely explanation (for an unlikely situation).

Consider what LilLamb suggested-- power lines nearby, sleeping next to an appliance, struck by lightning, even different charges in your cells based on your composition. (Take more potassium.)

I seem to experience the same symptoms no matter were I go, so unless the affects of what ever is in my environment that is causing this are long lasting (which if they are I have no way of testing) then it is most likely not were I live. I've never been struck by lighting but I've had a few close calls.

I think it's valuable to explore all your options in case something suddenly gets worse.

A wise suggestion, and I'll try and act on it. Sadly it is hard to figure out your options when you don't even entirely know what your dealing with.

I don't really know what to believe as far as your story goes, but I do know that this rubs me the wrong way, so to speak. I mean, if you're really wanting help for this "condition" you have, then why don't you just be totally honest with your doctors and tell them all the details? If it really is a medical condition, then why can't you just tell them and see what they have to say about it? It seems more like a spiritual problem to me, but that's just what I'm getting out of this. I pray you can figure this out and just remember that through Jesus, all things are possible.

I just always assumed that the seizure and the psychic encounters were connected. Both are unexplained and began to occur strongly at the same time. It seems to me that when the sawdust hit me in the face it agitated the wasp who then stung me.

My girlfriend has grown use to it and doesn't find it scary at all anymore. I've done a few supernatural acts around her and she finds it entertaining and interesting. I'm worried those who do not know me will shun me though. I do worry if the energy is frying my insides, but I don't see anything I can do about that.

Is there a way to test for a daemon (sprinkling holy water on my arm?)? I don't feel any other entity within me at all, but perhaps that is because I do not know what to feel for.

My Theology is somewhat rusty but I thought Daemons were angles who never followed gods light. Satan's evil angles would be the fallen angles.

My doctors told me that it wasn't epilepsy, but if it could go misdiagnosed for so long perhaps I do have it.

This has been a big worry for me and I believe the answer is no. I've cut down on the number of seizures I get and the ones I do get only last for a second. The seizures I have recently are not violent enough to stop me from driving in my opinion but they are most likely enough to stop me from being a surgeon. This causes me allot of worry since I would like to be a surgeon.

Most doctors might think it a curiosity, but would move on to the seizures, unless they'd heard it was typical to a specific ailment. I don't think they'd even recommend psych testing.

I agree that the powers are easily connected with the seizures.

Ok, that's understandable. But, doctors aren't allowed to disclose your personal information unless you give them permission to. How do you know they'll think you're a nut case. I'm sure they've heard crazier things. If it's an actual medical condition, then you should tell them all of the details so they can try to make a better diagnosis of it.

Your right. I volunteer at a hospital and I plane on entering the medical field in the future, so I know that they take discloser very seriously. I still fear telling a doctor the whole truth though. They might wish to try tests and give me more MRIs. It's true that the doctors may tell no one, but I would have to explain to my family and friends why I keep on going for tests that I'm not willing to talk about it. I feel that when I'm older I could do this with out worrying more people then I have to.
